Vanessa E. Robertson

Vanessa Robertson is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Robertson works on a wide range of matters including, but not limited to, personal injury, employment, business, and eviction matters.

Vanessa was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont. She attended Castleton University where she received a degree in Political Science with a minor in History. While attending Castleton, Vanessa interned at the Rutland County State’s Attorney’s Office and worked at a local firm focusing on probate, real estate and wills trusts and estates. Vanessa attended the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law where she received her J.D. and a certificate in Health Law and Policy. While attending law school, Vanessa clerked at two Vermont firms and a firm out of Manchester, New Hampshire. Her clerkships covered a wide range of areas of law including personal injury, real estate, wills, worker’s compensation, and business law. Vanessa served as a Governor of her Student Bar Association, President of the Women’s Law Student Association, and Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta Chapter.

Vanessa clerked at Facey Goss & McPhee during her last semester of law school and joined the team as an associate upon graduating. She currently serves on the Rutland Young Professional Board of Directors, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating more opportunities for young professionals and giving back to the community. During her free time, you can find her golfing, baking, and attending many community events.
