FG&M Attorney Heather Cooper to Present at Annual VBA Meeting

Heather Cooper, who is board certified by the American Board of Certification in Consumer Bankruptcy, will be participating on a panel presenting on Educational Lending and Bankruptcy: What Every Attorney Wants to Know. Heather’s focus will be on issues surrounding payment of student loan debt or tuition prior to a bankruptcy filing and, specifically, when those payments could be considered preferential such that they could be clawed back by the bankruptcy trustee.
