Biography

Native to Vermont, Shane was born in Rutland and raised in the small town of Proctor. Shane is a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph Academy in Rutland. Shane received his Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Legal Studies. During law school, Shane clerked for Facey Goss & McPhee, PC, where he assisted in a wide range of legal matters. In 2023, he received his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School.

After law school, Shane joined Facey Goss & McPhee as an associate attorney and has since been active in litigation, land use law, real estate law, and estate planning. Shane currently resides in Rutland Town, VT. Shane serves on the Board of Directors of Rutland Community Programs which operates Rutland County Head Start and the Seniors & Volunteers program.
